Thoughtforms is seeking a Carpenter to join our team. We value attitude and aptitude above all else. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform a diverse range of builders work including: layout and dimensional control; cabinetry, interior/exterior trim, door, and window installation; some framing; and, general carpentry support to subcontractors.</li><li>Support the Construction Supervisor by interpreting and following blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry tasks, using hand and power tools.</li><li>Demonstrate superior knowledge of general and finish carpentry, millwork, and cabinetry while maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.</li><li>Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to enable and ensure smooth project execution.</li><li>Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting safety, quality, schedule, budget, or reputation.</li><li>Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure functionality and safety and maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Carpenter with a track record of completing projects at a high level of finish.</li><li>Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, and general knowledge of all trades and construction methods/materials.</li><li>Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.</li><li>Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and other project partners.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to connect judgment to overall project and team objectives when making independent decisions.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills.</li><li>Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.</li><li>Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Possess a basic carpentry tool kit.</li></ul>Salary and Benefits:<ul><li>Full Time</li><li>Starting wage of $22.00 - $36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.</li><li>Medical</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>Long/Short-Term Disability insurance</li><li>PTO in addition to holidays</li><li>401K and profit sharing</li></ul>
