About the role

Thoughtforms is hiring a Carpenter to support residential construction projects with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role works closely with the Construction Supervisor and other trades to deliver projects that meet design, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and finish carpentry, including layout, framing support, trim, cabinetry, and installation of doors and windows
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute work accurately
• Support site operations and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
• Identify and resolve issues related to safety, quality, schedule, and materials
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized job site
• Follow all safety procedures and building standards

Qualifications

• Experience as a carpenter in residential construction
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and general construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Basic carpentry tools required

Job Details

• Full-time, W-2 position
• On-site role (no remote work)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour (based on experience)
