Position Overview

Thoughtforms is hiring a Residential Service Technician to perform repair, maintenance, and carpentry work in occupied homes. This role works closely with clients and internal team members to address service requests, troubleshoot issues, and complete high-quality repairs.

This position is suited for an experienced carpenter who is comfortable working in client homes and managing a variety of small to mid-sized service projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential carpentry repairs and general maintenance work
• Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors when needed
• Communicate with clients regarding scope, timing, and expectations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Respond to urgent service requests as needed
• Follow company safety standards and job site protocols
• Ensure all work meets company quality expectations

Required Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, carpentry, or service work
• Strong knowledge of general and finish carpentry techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Experience working directly with clients in occupied homes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Work Schedule

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be required based on service needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $36.00 to $42.00
